Les Séchoirs Ste-Monique was incorporated May 15th 2002 with te intent of establishing a mill for hardwood drying an advanced component and board manufacturing (tertiary processing). Construction of the facilities began in the fall of 2002 and the dryers began operating in February 2003.

Tertiary processing operations started spring of 2004 and are constantly improving since then.

The Company will be able to develop an expertise ind hardwood drying (birch) and develop tertiary processing for this wood species in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
