Thomas-Louis Tremblay Sawmill has been a family owned business since early 1900. This fourth generation business is the largest ¨white birch¨ sawmill in eastern Canada, located in Ste-Monique (St-John's Lake) Quebec. In the last few years management has innovated by integrating remanufacturing operations within sawmilling activities all under the same roof.

This new venture enables financial viability of small log sawing that otherwise would not be suitable with conventional equipment.

Today, with automated detectors for color and grade selections, Thomas Louis Tremblay pushes the bounderies of what can be achieved even further, with advanced technologies to help manufacturing tailor made products to customers specific needs.

We believe that customer oriented sawmills, such as ours, will set the pace of what tomorrow's standard will be in the hardwood sawing industry.
