1987

Thomas Louis-Tremblay Sawmill and L.B. Sawmill joined forces to found Produits Forestiers T.L.B Inc., with the ambition of promoting two species that were then little used: aspen and white birch. By combining their expertise, they aimed to open new markets, both among pallet manufacturers and among users of graded lumber.

1996

L.B. Sawmill was acquired by an OSB panel company, while the Thomas-Louis Tremblay Sawmill invested in innovative sawing technology to better leverage the abundant white birch resources.

2020

Over the years, PRODUITS FORESTIERS T.L.B has developed a strong niche in the use of white birch and yellow birch, becoming the leading seller of these species in Eastern Canada.

2025

PRODUITS FORESTIERS T.L.B shifts its focus toward the marketing of hardwood, aspen, and hemlock. Guided by a new family generation, the company continues its mission with a human approach, consistent quality, and the ability to adapt to evolving market needs.
